DowntownRiverhead.org is managed by the Riverhead Business Improvement District Management Association [BIDMA].
The Riverhead BID is a special tax district, governed by the Town Board of the Town of Riverhead. A special assessment is levied on properties within the BID, as indicated on the BID map, which is on file in the office of the Town Clerk of the Town of Riverhead, 4 West 2nd Street, Riverhead NY 11901. The Town Board sets an annual budget for the BID Management Association, a non-profit corporation whose members are the property owners and tenants of the parcels within the district. A board of directors elected by the membership oversees the affairs of the BID Management Association.
The BIDMA meets the Third Wednesday of each month at 5:30 at Riverhead Town Hall 4 West 2nd Street Riverhead, NY 11901. Anyone wishing to present an item for discussion for the BID board meetings must send an email no later than 24 hours prior to the meeting to the Executive Director at hello@downtownriverhead.org.
