Things to know…

Even though Alive on 25 is a free event, there are still a few rules that all festival-goers need to follow.

What time is Alive on 25?
5-9:30pm (last call and last song at 9:15pm)

Where will live music be playing?
You can’t miss it! Multiple stages line Main Street with live music provided by craft brewers and local restaurants.

Can I bring a cooler full of goodies?
No. Sorry, no coolers, food, or beverages allowed - please visit our local purveyors for food and refreshments!
Wristbands and coded cups are distributed by each beer, wine and cider vendor and monitored by security.

Is there food available at the event?
Yes, numerous food vendors offer everything from pizza to gyros, fresh-squeezed lemonade to burgers. Main Street restaurants are open for sit-down dining (and air-conditioned!). There are plenty of great food options.

Can I bring a blanket, lawn chairs or an umbrella?
Bring a lawn chair and blankets to relax (and eat) along the riverfront, in Grangebel Park or on the grounds of East End Arts.

Is beer available at the event?
Beer, wine and cider will be available at multiple stations throughout the festival.

I’d like to sponsor the event – how do I get involved?
That’s easy – just contact us here.

I want to sell things at the event, how do I become a vendor?
Everything you need to know is here.

About how many people attend the event?
That varies, but for the most part we estimate that about 5,000 people take part during the event each night.

Can I bring my cat, my dog, my peacock, my penguin or my horse?
Sorry, no pets allowed - but feel free to share photos of them with others! Service animals only.

How much does it cost to attend Alive on 25?
It’s free. Yes, really FREE. And no, you do not need a ticket. Just show up.

Where is the best place to park?
See the parking map here.

Where is Alive on 25 held?
Along Main Street in Downtown Riverhead (from Griffing Avenue to McDermott Avenue). Check here to see the Map.

What time does Main Street close?
Main Street will close to vehicular traffic from 3pm-10pm.
All resident, business, and visitor VEHICLES MUST BE REMOVED FROM MAIN STREET BY 3PM OR RISK BEING TOWED (yes, it really happens at least once per year!).
